The KFC Sales Department began by providing take-out packaging for KFC International’s experimental store at the 1970 Osaka World Exposition. Since then, we have been following the rapid expansion of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)’s store network as a total supplier of food ingredients, packaging, store equipment, and uniforms for their stores.

Our founding business was medical disposable products, but the KFC business became our core business during the period of our rapid growth of about 30% per year. It also became the foundation for the creation of a new sales department, the Food Service Sales Department, by applying the business model of the KFC business to the development of fast food and restaurant chains.

Similar to the business of the KFC Sales Department, the Food Service Sales Department has developed by applying the KFC business model as a total supplier of fast food and food service outlets (essential supplies for food service outlets – from paper containers, packaging materials, room temperature food ingredients, store fixtures to uniforms). Our strength lies in our convenience as a one-stop supplier of essential supplies for food service stores.

We are particularly strong in packaging materials for take-out and delivery, and can act as a consultant and coordinator for the procurement of materials for customers in the food service industry, i.e., we can undertake the planning and purchasing of packaging materials. By accurately grasping the needs of each customer company, we provide appropriate supply chain management (SCM), including planning, manufacturing, purchasing, inventory management, store sorting, and consignment delivery.

In the restaurant business, we can handle a wide range of products, from general-purpose products to planned products, in addition to our well-established and reliable SCM. We can contribute to the creation of a brand image when a restaurant opens, and we can make proposals that best match the customer’s preferences by capturing the ever-changing trends. In terms of logistics, we offer sincere proposals for cost reduction in light of recent industry conditions, and in terms of ordering and receiving, we realize speedy processing of orders and deliveries with our unique web system.

Amusement prize supply

The Amusement Sales Department’s main customers are the industry’s top pachinko hall operators, and we specialize in handling general prizes. In the past, the company procured premiums for each store, but after receiving a request to change to bulk purchasing from the head office and delivery to each store, we responded appropriately and started business with the company in 1995. We deal in a wide range of essential products for pachinko parlors, including cigarettes (from paper cigarettes to heated cigarette cartridges in recent years), sweets, beverages, and daily sundries.

Within the Consumer Lifestyle Business Group, although it differs somewhat from KFC and restaurant sales, we have built a foundation by making the most of the store delivery functions we have cultivated in this business and by proactively responding to the detailed needs of the amusement industry. In addition to taking measures against passive smoking, smoke separation, and coronary infections in the amusement industry, we are also making high-quality proposals for prizes other than cigarettes in anticipation of customer needs as we enter a period of great change toward popular entertainment.

In response to the needs of our customers, we have expanded our logistics functions, such as the prompt procurement, storage, and delivery of products, by establishing new distribution bases, etc. In recent years, in view of the future direction of the industry, we have been offering a wide range of products in a flexible manner, including general consumables, detergents, hygiene products, infection control products, and other products in our stores.
